1870's Stock Market Reflection

One of Mr. Coyle's Tips was "You must spend money to make money." This experience relates to me during the game because what this tip means is in order to make your money, you have to spend your money to buy the materials, then you can make money. During the game, if you wanted to earn profit you had to take your chances to buy the company's material even though the charge could have increased or decreased. By buying the materials you took chances because you never knew when the price would have fallen. If the price had fallen then you would be loosing money. You had to buy the materials, and then sell them for more money. Without spending your money to buy it, you wouldn't have earned your money. At first I bought a couple of the company's products, then I didn't buy any. But as the years went on some of the company's decreased the price, making me sell the price at a lower rate. So in order to have earned the money back, I had to sell some, and then buy some more which increased as time went on.
