Brutus' Dilemma

I would stay loyal to Caeser. He had defeated Pompey, without help, it shows that he has the power to rule. Many of the citizens have liked Caeser, even before he was going to become king. He had socialized with many others, and everyone wants for him to be king. Cassius isn't thinking about the good of Rome, he just doesnt want Caeser to rule because he sided with Pompey during the war. Cassius is choosing Brutus to try and kill Caeser because he and Caeser have been close friends, and if he had persuaded Brutus, Brutus would have agreed. Cassius uses the technique of making Caeser look bad by telling stories of how Caeser is so weak to Brutus. Cassuis says "Dar'st thou, Cassius, now leap in with me into this angry flood and swim to yonder point. Caeser had cried "Help me, Cassius, or i sink!" Cassius is trying to prove to Brutus that Caeser is a week person, and that it would be better for Rome if Brutus had killed him, and taken over instead. What Brutus doesnt know is that Cassius is trying to use him in order to get rid of Caeser so he can try and rule Rome. Caeser has done everything to prove that he is a good leader of Rome, but Cassius doesnt want Ceaser to be. so Overall, I would side with my friend Caeser. I beleive that he would become a good leader of Rome. Caeser has been a friend longer than Cassius has, so I would trust Caeser would be for the good of Rome.
